Not Really a Big Surprise But...

The property at 6446 Sylvan Road is now up for sale.

I'm sure most saw this coming, but a few will be shocked.

  1. Looks like just another of their many stories shot down.

"We will NEVER, EVER sell the school!!!"

Its probably in foreclosure by now anyway.
    Sad to see but inevitable.

I still don't see how the City of Citrus Heights is to blame for this. All they had to do was be honest, submit legitimate applications, follow the rules and sincerely put the children and their welfare first (as their mission statement suggested). This never was about the kids.. it was always about the MONEY, and still is!

I am so happy to hear the success stories of the families that have moved on and found positive experiences elsewhere.

  2. I for one, am not shocked at all but I am confused. Are the Adams only selling part of the property? The listing says the property for sale is 3.95 acres. I thought the school was around 7 acres.

  3. ROTFLMAO!!!!!...Can anyone else see the parody in the listing being outlined in red??? :-)......wake up CFS supporters, you've been had....pretty clear as to the purpose of the sale of Home Depot gift cards, my guess would be the "Sea of Red" will soon evaporate into a small pond of flounders.

Apparently Bob Adams is no stranger to the small claims courts, looking into link provided here it shows record of nine cases against filed between 8-5-1994 and 10-13-2011, the latter being heard in December I believe. Of the eight past cases, five were for breach of contract, one collection, one for professional negligence and one for defamation, very curious as to the out come of these cases.
The things that make you think Hmmmmm........

  4. The entire school is probably made up of several parcels, hence the different acreage. I'm not sure if the smaller listing means they are only selling part of the property, but I doubt it. I assume it must be a large financial burden with the school's basic bills (mortgage, electricity, water, property taxes, etc) being paid for by income from tuition. They were probably left with no other option but to sell it off. You are also correct, had the applications for Zsolt been honest and forthcoming, perhaps they would have granted him a license.

  5. Maybe *NOW* parents will get their refunds?

  6. Even *if* they are selling it off in small parcels the piece up for sale includes all of the school buildings (according to the listing - classrooms and administrative buildings).

I am shocked that they are finally selling. Not shocked that it's happening, shocked that it took this long.

I hope this finally opens the eyes of the "supporters". With such a stigma attached to it I wonder if anyone would even think about purchasing, REPAIRING and reopening?

  7. I don't think this will "open the eyes of the supporters". At least not some of the most vocal ones. I think many will continue to think that all the documentation provided by this blog is part of a conspiracy to attack the Adams family and CFS. I think they still see Bob as a martyr who has done no wrong but who is wrongly persecuted. I happen to believe that those supporters have blinders on.

  8. I have tried to keep an open mind while following these alleged sexual molestation charges against Mr Adams. I have followed your blog and remained a supporter on the CFS FB page just to make sure I am hearing both sides to this tragic story.

I was shocked to read the CFS FB page today to discover that members of the group acknowledge that CFS does have tuition financial records. The Adams family and their supporters including Linda Parisi their attorney have claimed over and over that the CHPD had all their records and they never kept backup copies. I always found that a difficult pull to swallow especially since my family has long since moved on and we would like to be refunded tuition we paid in advance. According to Patricia Pluim ?? They do know who owes tuition money and who is past due...so by the same token, they know who is owed refunds too. Sorry for rambling. I am just very upset by this revelation today.

  9. I just clicked on the link and the size has changed to 6.43 acres with an available date of today, 11/28/11.

  10. Even if we didn't pay a large sum in advance we should all receive the Registration Fee we paid for this school year.

  11. Who is Patricia Shoemaker Pluim and was she employed by CFS ? If not, why does she have access to our financial information? Why hasn't anyone on the CFS FB page been told of the closing of the school? I have spent a lot of time and money supporting this school and then it comes time for the school to be sold and I have to find out here! Adams and his family owe us more than just tuition funds.

  12. From what I can gather from posts, she was an employee at one time, but quite some time ago. Certainly not someone who should have access to current financial records. She mentions it somewhere on the CFS facebook page. As to your other questions, I don't know the answers, but then again I don't understand many of the actions taken by the Adams family with regards to their supporters.

  13. From a friend in the foreclosure business the school property has a foreclosure in process. I wouldn't count on the refunds coming from there.
