We all have to play by the rules

We received an update to the City of Citrus Heights business file on Creative Frontiers. It seems that the Benedek/Adams clan just can't seem to get it together in terms of properly filling out paperwork, keep their stories straight and disclosing information that needs to be disclosed.

To recap:
The school was supposedly sold from Robert Adams to Zsolt Benedek. Robert Adams was part of Creative Frontiers School, Inc and Zsolt Benedek wants to open a new school under Creative Frontiers School, LLC.  (For the sake keeping this very similar names straight, we are going by Inc and LLC respectively.)  The owners of Inc are still in negotiations with the City of Citrus Heights to reopen the school.  All the while there is a business license application from LLC to open the school on the same property that Inc is attempting to reopen. The problem here is pretty clear right?  You can't have two business licenses for the same purpose operating the same business on the same property with two different owners. Instead of either Inc or LLC taking their side off the table, they continue to push and force as though the City of Citrus Heights should mold their practices, policies and laws to them.

We now have an email from Zsolt claiming nothing has changed so there is no ownership change to submit.  So which is it? Was the school sold or not?  After we get past the double talk the Adams oops! I meant Benedeks are so proficient at we get to the whining that once again they are being treated unfairly and not being given any consideration like they should be.  The letter ends with a poorly veiled threat at moving the school out of the City of Citrus Heights and into a city where the "process seems much shorter".  I can't imagine that it would make the City of Citrus Heights too upset to see them all go away.   Pushing an issue through two separate channels trying to find the faster one rarely ends in the expected result.

  1. Wow, what a mess. I must say, it also does not look good for Mr. Benedek that his correspondences are so full of grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors. And the smiley face in the email? Highly professional.

  2. I agree with the above comment entirely. In addition, that email looked like it was written by a 6 year-old. Spelling, punctuation, smiley face, grammar--let me just say, who wants this guy to be in charge of anyone's education??

  3. The above posters hit it on the head.. Then for him to attempt to tip the scale by insinuating he might just take his business elsewhere.... as if he has anything to offer Citrus Heights.

  4. He reminds me of a young child in a toy box who wants all the toys for himself! Follow the law - unlike your family to-be. Things go much more smoothly when you don't use constant doublespeak! The delays on the license are Zsolt's doing and no one else. Why does the sale of the school need to remain confidential? Since it was a BS transaction in which no $$ even changed hands??
