Just letting everyone know Doubting CFS will be taking a break to spend Christmas with loved ones. I hope everyone enjoys their holiday. We will be back sometime next week. I agree with the previous comment! You have been stellar in bringing forth factual information, refreshing our minds on key points, providing comparable cases (so we can get a glimpse into the legal puzzle)and staying neutral in your presentation. Hopefully, this will all be done and behind us soon, it has been a complete nightmare for everyone involved!!!
ReplyDeleteSitting here thinking about all that has transpired in the last 5+ months and wondering JUST HOW MANY of us truly believed in Robert Adams in the beginning. How many got no answers or conflicting retorts from each family member we spoke with. Were there more like me, who did some basic research and was not only surprised by, but SHOCKED at what I found? Discovering that this was not the first time he was accused of inappropriate behavior. How could any of this have happened? Lying, cheating, stealing, molestation, subjecting our precious children to health and safety hazards.
ReplyDeleteGranted, MANY people and agencies "DROPPED THE BALL" which continued to roll down hill and snowball out of control. Its unfortunate that this predator was allowed to continue these acts. Knowing there was even a member of the staff (maybe more) who actually "covered up" what was going on. We can all thank our lucky stars that there was not a fatality or severe injury. This is not to discount the agony the children of the abuse have endured, nor the ones who witnessed these disturbing acts. Hopefully, the justice system will soon be able to deal with this abuser and render a quick and severe punishment.
In closing, I would sincerely like to see posts from others who thought this was all a very unfortunate and inaccurate bunch of allegations but have since changed their way of thinking. I am thoroughly impressed with the unbiased reporting I found on this blog. I know the Adams family thinks this is a smear campaign and see it as an attack, but that is only because the old adage, "THE TRUTH HURTS" rings clear. What if one of the granddaughters went to her mother and reported the same behavior? Would they feel the same if it were "their" child being abused?
Anonymous #3 appears to have some knowledge that Bob Adams abused children.Anyone can make allegations, but until proven in a court of law they are just that,allegations.
ReplyDeleteIf I were being accused of such terrible crimes I would take all the time I needed to defend myself, and so would anyone else.
I am a little surprised that doubting CFS would post your comment. After all they say they want to be unbiased. I think it is ok to put the FACTS out there, but this type of comment is anything but unbiased.Makes me wonder what Anonymous#3 true motives are.
Anonymous #4, I don;t read it that way at all. In addition, comments are not my opinion. I've stated many times previously that comments are the opinion of the writer. The only comments I will not post are guesses on my identity, swearing, links to other blogs, and otherwise inappropriate comments. Approving a comment that indicates that the writer feels the Mr. Adams is guilty, or one that feels that he is not guilty, in no way changes my stance on the matter.
ReplyDeleteOk I am #3... I am not trying to defend myself or defame anyone. I DO have knowledge of being LIED TO... I have knowledge of being charged for care where my child was placed in danger. Had the violations been posted as REQUIRED by LAW, I would have never put my child in this situation. The school was operating without a valid license! They were covering up "ALLEGATIONS" of inappropriate behavior by Bob Adams, from previous students. We were LIED to regarding his qualifications. We were lied to while we were supporting the Adams family, donating items and attending fund raisers. Eyebrows began to raise when one daughter would tell us one thing, then another would tell something quite different. I am not sure they knew what was going on, but the "ONE MORE SIGNATURE" comment was overdone, under explained and an OUTRIGHT LIE!!! It seems this family has one thing that remains consistant, they don't EVEN KNOW the TRUTH but when presented with it, they accuse everyone responsible for bringing it up, of being liars and out to destroy their family. Unfortunately, they are pointing their fingers in all the wrong directions.. when in fact, they should be DEMANDING some hard answers from their deceptive FATHER!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am not to blame for any of the allegations, the condition of the grounds and buildings, the revelations of wrong-doing, the lack of credentials, the lies that were told or any of the articles, comments or blogs. This is MY opinion.. nothing more, nothing less. I stand behind all I said and have no reason to feel any shame for anything... can BOB ADAMS say that?!
